AWESOME AUTHOR INTERVIEW, M E FRANCO

M E FRANCO IS IN THE HOUSE!

 M. E. Franco lives in California with her husband and children. She works as a Behavior Analyst Consultant during the day and writes in her fantasy world at night. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, playing outside, music, and chocolate.  I met M E on Goodreads and we immediately connected. You can befriend many people, and connect with only a few; M E is one of the people that I connected with. I wanted to interview her because when I read a sample chapter of her book Where Will You Run, I immediately put her book on my TBR!

SYNOPSIS OF WHERE WILL YOU RUN
As a San Francisco homicide detective, Mari Lucas was used to calling in favors to get her sister, Kerry, out of trouble, but this was the last straw. Instead of her usual minor brush with the law, Kerry landed herself in a locked psychiatric ward rambling about vampires who were out to get her. Working in San Francisco, Mari had seen a lot of crazy things, but vampires? Maybe Kerry had finally lost her mind.
But when her sister goes missing from the secure psychiatric facility, Mari is forced to investigate her disappearance along with a disturbing increase in missing persons cases among the homeless population. Forced to work the case with an outside detective, Mari will stop at nothing to find her sister. But what she finds will change her life forever

Doesn't that sound awesome!
LET'S GET ROCKING WITH THE QUESTIONS:
DEBORAH: What are you currently writing?

Oddly enough, I am taking a break from my paranormal romance/urban fantasy series to write a historic western romance.

DEBORAH : I love Historical romance; I've written a few myself. Would you tell us about a favorite character from either the western book or one of your other books?

While I love Mari and Raith, the lead characters in my paranormal series, I have to say I fell in love with Reinn. He gets introduced in book two and is a complicated character. He is the last remaining draugr (Viking vampire). He knows very little about the supernatural world and tries to stay away from humans as much as possible. He believes he is an evil creature, but finally discovers that he is a saint compared to some of the monsters in the world. He can be truly frightening. Thankfully, he is one of the good guys.

DEBORAH: Sounds so intriguing, Michelle. When can we look forward to your next book coming out?

I’m terrible with deadlines, but hopefully I will have the western romance book finished by spring, and I am working on book three of my paranormal series as well.

DEBORAH: Please give us a short synopsis of your next book.

Hannah Miller’s world was turned upside down when her mother died. With no other family members to turn to, she moves to California to a less than warm welcome from a father and brother she never met. Trying to make the best of a bad situation, Hannah attempts to find a place for herself in her new home where she is constantly abused. Her father is a bitter alcoholic who blames Hannah's mother and the neighboring Scott family for all of his misery. When her father crosses the law, he leaves Hannah at the mercy of his enemy, Jackson Scott. Now Hannah must decide for herself - can he be trusted, or does he have other motives?

DEBORAH: We're going to have to read the book to find out! When did you know you would like to become a writer?

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I mostly focused on poetry and the occasional short story. I’ve only been brave enough to attempt novels the last few.

DEBORAH: Well we're glad you got brave! Before we end our time together, tell us what are you currently reading, or what did you just finish reading?

I just finished reading Fair Play by Janna Shay and am reading The Undeparted by you!

DEBORAH: Well that sounds like a good note to end on! Thank you so much for being here today and telling us a bit about your awesome books!

  3. Terrific interview and thank you for the promo. I absolutely loved WHERE WILL YOU RUN? and have just started WHERE WILL YOU HIDE? I already know I'm going to love it as well as I did the first book in the series.
So get yourself in gear and finish that story because I'm going to need another of your books to read.
