<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Seumas was born with the love of writing in his heart, but began his career as a banker trainee, not in his homeland Scotland, but in merry old London. He found himself, however, with a missionary's heart while on his stint in London, but it seems as if fate worked its magic and his missionary role was aborted; hence, the writer emerged! If you are anything like me, you will definitely find my Scottish friend a charming and interesting man, as well as a talented writer. When I sign on to <a href="http://seumasgallacher.com/" target="_blank">Seamus' blog</a>, I always find the topic of conversation intriguing. For instance, check out <a href="http://seumasgallacher.com/2014/01/10/when-being-in-the-lap-of-the-gods-really-means-being-in-the-lap-of-yer-sosyal-netwurk-pals-tbsu/" target="_blank">this article:</a> It's about "being in the lap of the Gods" i.e. self-published on Amazon. And speaking of Amazon, BUY his book <a href="http://www.amazon.com/SAVAGE-PAYBACK-Seumas-Gallacher-ebook/dp/B00G00GZEO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1382170332&sr=8-1&keywords=savage+payback+kindle" target="_blank">SAVAGE PAYBACK</a> there. It's a page-turner! I read it, loved it; gave it a 5 star. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;">Check out the description and see what <em>you</em> think: A series of coordinated lethal bomb attacks on a dozen jewelry stores in London’s West End drag former SAS officer, Jack Calder and his specialist security firm, International Security Partners, into a deadly mesh of murder and international drug running. <br />A black ops explosives expert, an ex-colleague turned renegade mercenary with a twisted lust for revenge, emerges from the past to join forces with a powerful and dangerous drug baron from Eastern Europe. <br />A major cocaine trafficker from South America compounds the threats as competitive turf issues straddle international territories. <br />Attacks close to home heighten the urgency for Calder and his team to find and deal with each of the three sinister adversaries in a final savage payback. </span><br />

"If you asked me which is easier, writing songs or writing novels, I would
say it was the former. Melodies and rhymes are second nature. What my characters
want is another thing entirely. With my debut novel, Falcon's Angel, I learned
to listen to my spunky heroine and sinfully confident hero. They're funny and in
danger, and that's just the way they want it. Lesson learned: don't try to save
them.<br />
When I'm not writing, I exercise my lungs at my son's soccer matches and our
favorite theme park, because everyone knows it's easier on the stomach to scream
your way down a roller coaster," Danita Minnis

<span style="font-size: large;">Love Entwined is a mix of modern and historical with paranormal elements which has just about everything a reader could want. I love mixing genres! </span><span style="font-size: large;">Check out this brief description: </span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">When Roman devises a plan to get Amelie to himself, he sets in motion the final
chapter of a love story that began 200 years before. Falling in love again, they
find themselves caught in a web of murder and intrigue that spans the ages. From
the modern-day corporate world to pre-Revolutionary France and the secrets of
St. Clair Manor, one history is laid to rest, another is just beginning in

<span style="font-size: large;">Welcome erotic, romance author, Elodie Parkes, and her newest novel, <br />

<span style="font-size: large;">
Elodie prides herself on writing "a new kind of romance, always with a twist; cool stories and hot love scenes." <br />
A Little Mysterious combines erotica, romance and the paranormal. What a great combo!<br />
Here's a brief description: He’d been sent off course…he thought he was lost…until he found Daisy.
<br />His vampire abilities were special. He belonged to an elite group.
Moving home, they are set off course by a storm that lands Dhruv alone, hungry,
and desperate in a strange town. That’s where he meets Daisy. Now why not take a gander at this steamy scene....if you are 18 and over! <br />
<div class="MsoNormalCxSpFirst">
<i><b><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></b></i><a name='more'></a><i><b><span style="font-size: medium;">He traced his
fingers down her cheek and over the love bite on her neck, and the sensation was
electrifying. He devastated her with a kiss that was even better than the night
before. Her whole body felt heavy with a sexual languor. She felt wetness
between her legs. Her breasts ached for his touch. Her nipples were hard against
her sheer lace bra. Daisy put her arms up around Dhruv’s neck, molding her body
to his. He circled her waist and crushed her to him. The action brought her
stomach against his cock and she felt the column hard and thick, enticing her.
His kisses had driven her to the brink of desperation. She pressed against him
to keep the feeling of his cock on her.<!--?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = "O"
/--><o:p></o:p></span></b></i><br /></div>
<i><b><span style="font-size: medium;">He moved his
hands down her hips, and held her under her bottom on the tops of her thighs. He
kneaded there as he stopped kissing her to nibble down her throat. It left a
trail of delicious shivers down her neck. Another surge of liquid in her pussy
made her panties sticky. She arched her neck to have more of his sucking along
her shoulder. He drew back from her and Daisy followed him. She put her face up
for another kiss. Her need for it made her moan softly.</span></b></i><br />

</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">Read about THE LAMB OF GOD....Beginning with the story of Creation and the First Great War of the Angels;
the Crucifixion; and then the birth of two sons to the great Vlad Dracul, The
Lamb Of God introduces you to The Dracula Chronicles and the dark world of
author, Shane KP O’Neill, where he will take you on a journey unlike any other
you have travelled before. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;">
</span></div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">The battle for souls has raged since the truce that followed the First Great
War of the Angels. God has struck the ultimate blow and sacrifice to gain the
advantage and defeat His fallen angel and estranged son, Lucifer. As Lucifer
stands at the foot of the Cross that drains the last ounce of life from Christ
and eradicates man’s sins, he realises that his work must begin anew. In time he
comes to understand that his only chance to win the battle for souls will be to
destroy the institution of the Catholic Church to turn man against God, once and
for all. He searches for more than a millennium for the candidate to see his
plan through to an end and finally discovers the one that can cast that final
blow.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;">
</span></div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">The Dracula Chronicles is a dark and terrifying new concept based on the real
historical Vlad Dracula. It is an epic journey through the ages where the forces
of Light and Darkness struggle for supremacy until the Second Great War, as
foretold in the Book of Revelations.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;">
</span></div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">This bitter feud begins after the creation of mankind. Lucifer’s jealousy
leads to the First Great War of the angels. Hundreds of thousands of years on
the feud simmers beneath the surface. It plots the course of history as we know
it today. Both sides manipulate the major players through the centuries to seek
an advantage over the other. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: medium;">
</span></div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">On a cold night in December 1431 in Sighisoara an old gypsy woman delivers a
prophecy to the great Vlad Dracul. She tells him he is about to sire two sons,
one an angel and the other a devil. He returns to his fortress just as his
wife bears him a son, whom he names Vlad. In the very same moment across the
country on the border between Transylvania and Hungary a gypsy girl gives birth
to another son, Andrei. The die is cast. The twin souls are born. The young Vlad
Dracula becomes the instrument of the forces of Darkness. To balance this, the
baby Andrei is blessed by the angels and bestowed with awesome powers.<br />These
chronicles are their story.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: medium;"></span> </div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: medium;">Drawn together across centuries, will their love be strong
enough to defeat an ancient curse?<br /><br />Colonel Caleb DeCardian was fighting
America’s Civil War on the side of the Union when a freak shower of ball
lightning transported him to the present, along with rival and former friend,
Seth Reilly. Adapting to the 21st century is hard enough for the colonel, but he
also has to find Seth, who cursed him to life as a werewolf. The last thing on
Caleb’s mind is romance. Then fetching Arianna Hart nearly runs him down with
her car. He can’t deny his attraction to the outspoken schoolteacher, but knows
he should forget her. <br /><br />Arianna finds Caleb bewildering, yet intriguing:
courtly manners, smoldering sensuality and eyes that glow silver at night? When
she sees Civil War photographs featuring a Union officer who looks exactly like
Caleb, she begins to understand the man she is falling in love with harbors
multiple secrets--some of which threaten the possibility of their
happiness.<br /><br />Finding a decent guy who'll commit is hard enough. How can she
expect Caleb to forsake his own century to be with her.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">You can buy it on <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Listen-To-The-Heartbeat-ebook/dp/B00B2Q5H6S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365054694&sr=8-1&keywords=liliana+soare" target="_blank">AMAZON</a> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;">It's not only an extremely entertaining book and well written, but Liliana's writing style is absolutely engrossing and descriptive, and so is she! Liliana let me in on a secret; she loves fishing.</span> "</span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;">I’m absolutely crazy about fishing. I have six fishing rods and a mad fishing
tackle kit. I could go fishing and be gone missing for days, that’s how much I
am in love with it."</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">So aside from writing which she has been doing for three years now, fishing is a true love for her. She also loves living in Australia and finds the culture diverse. "Cultural diversity brings a sense of tolerance, mutual respect, and
compassion for those in need. People are relaxed, understanding and friendly.
Quite informal, open and direct, they say what they mean. The beauty of the
country is unrivalled too. There is no other place where I would like to be."</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;"></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Calibri;">When I asked Liliana about the hero/heroine in her book, she was very direct and open! Here's what she said. "The hero? Well, there’s two
of them in the novel, and naming the main one would disclose the plot, so I will
pass. I will talk about the heroine though. Lucy Whitfield is barely 18 years
old. A beautiful orphan who doesn’t know much about life, after spending 12 long
years in a strict educational institution. She is stubborn, loud-mouthed,
reckless at times, but does have a good heart and a fragility she denies. "</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Here's a small sample from page one of her book:</span> The stale air steamed in the room, which was saturated with a week’s worth of
humidifier mist. Lucy fought back the urge to wipe the sheen of perspiration
that coated her forehead. A quick dab with her silky handkerchief would do. But
that would definitely qualify as a slap on father’s face and would most
assuredly stick her with an hour-long sermon on her miserable failure to have
turned into a refined <i>beau monde mademoiselle</i>.
“<i>Educated young ladies never display disrespect for the basic
needs of the ill and frail,</i>” he would say, struggling to
breathe as the humidifier only provided small relief...</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"></span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Now check out the description: </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: medium;"><span class="font_6">Andrew Langston focuses his life on taking
care of his mega-business, hence his irritation when he must become the legal
guardian of orphan Lucy Whitfield for five months until she turns eighteen. But
his discontent melts away when he meets his beautiful pupil. Not even the fact
that Lucy is madly in love with business tycoon Peter Randall will stop Andrew
from attempting to reach his goal. He takes advantage of the guardianship
agreement provisions to keep the two lovers apart. His efforts eventually start
turning the wheels until one day Lucy realizes that she’s in love with two men.
They both desperately want Lucy and are not willing to back away. Their goals
will turn her life upside down when they clash. But while one’s personal
interests will endanger her life, the other’s will keep her alive. One of them
will ultimately achieve what he wants. But which one?</span><span class="color_2"></span></span></div>

I love to feature authors from a myriad of genres; it keeps life interesting. <br />
Today allow me to welcome Caroline Clemmons, a best selling Western Author, and spotlight one of her wonderful books, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Bluebonnet-Bride-Stone-Mountain-ebook/dp/B00BHOC7L8/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1362152055&sr=1-1&keywords=caroline+clemmons" target="_blank">BLUE BONNET BRIDE</a><br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Caroline
Clemmons is an Amazon bestselling author of historical and contemporary western
romances whose books have garnered numerous awards. Her most recent novel,
BLUEBONNET BRIDE, is a poignant tale of tender redemption. A frequent speaker at
conferences and seminars, she has taught workshops on characterization, point of
view, and layering a novel. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Caroline
and her husband live in the heart of Texas cowboy country with their menagerie

enjoys reading, travel, antiquing, genealogy, painting, and getting together

<br />
Here's what Caroline had to say.....<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Do
you wonder why authors choose a particular location for their books? As a Texan,
I enjoy setting my books and novellas in my state. Texas is a big state, though,
with diverse landscapes. How do I choose?<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span><o:p></o:p></span></div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUKJgNiS_rlZYbweP4_e_5FuA2C25dqp8xpdSL2Y-80p9FKpY9ZNi0R2zL2KDznu2karmpGonRWWhImPIUbxVF2ZYtn88I67furPCFsc2QlAhxD_Ytlf1CkFubGiwkP9c1vcoNuY_8DD8/s1600/bbb_cover_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUKJgNiS_rlZYbweP4_e_5FuA2C25dqp8xpdSL2Y-80p9FKpY9ZNi0R2zL2KDznu2karmpGonRWWhImPIUbxVF2ZYtn88I67furPCFsc2QlAhxD_Ytlf1CkFubGiwkP9c1vcoNuY_8DD8/s320/bbb_cover_4.jpg" width="209" /></a><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">First,
I write about locales I enjoy visiting. That’s what happened several years ago
when my husband and I learned of the open house at an historic ranch about forty
miles from our home. We visited the Belding-Gibson Ranch in Palo Pinto County.
Part of this ranch was taken in by the formation of Possum Kingdom Lake, known
locally as PK. The occasion of the open house was to announce the release of
Barbara Belding Gibson’s book about the ranch, PAINTED POLE: The Beldings and
Their Ranches in Palo Pinto County – Pioneer Days to Computer Age by Sunbelt
Eakin Press. <o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">I
had used this lake for a modern story, OUT OF THE BLUE, featuring a heroine who
travels from the past to help a modern police detective solve several
murders.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This was my first visit to this
ranch. The Belding-Gibson Ranch started in 1859 with a 12' by 12' cedar log
cabin.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Fortunately, the Gibsons who own
what remains of the ranch have preserved the cabin, the smokehouse, and as much
of the original homestead as possible. The ranch is beautiful with huge live
oaks dotting the pastures and offering shade for cattle. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">The
area was inhabited by cedar cutters and hunters in 1854—and Comanche and Kiowa.
People from Colorado might laugh at the Palo Pinto Mountains and say they look
like big hills. Geographically, they are genuine mountains covered in live oak,
scrub oak, cedar, and other native trees such as elm, hackberry, and cottonwood.
The scrub oaks turn lovely colors in the fall, which is why the Native Americans
named them <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">palo pinto</i>, or painted
stick/pole/post (depending on your interpretation).<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">No,
they’re not as pretty as Vermont’s fall colors, but give us a break. They are
beautiful in their own rite. Cedars and live oaks retain their dark green
foliage among the fall hues of the scrub oaks. My favorite time to drive through
this area is spring when trees and grass are green and wildflowers abound.
<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">The
three Stone brothers have settled in the Palo Pinto Mountains to raise cattle.
In book one, BRAZOS BRIDE, they face a drought and a heroine someone wants dead.
Book two is HIGH STAKES BRIDE and is the story of Zach Stone and Alice Price. By
book three, the first two brothers have married and only Joel Stone, eldest, is
single. He’s sheriff of the fictional town of Radford Springs, and an excellent
lawman. While his brothers each have ranches of thousands of acres, Joel’s
smaller ranch is managed by a foreman. I love setting a series of books in this
locale, and I’m sure it will pop up again with spin off characters from the Men

Lucy
did as he asked. He thought he could shinny down the rope so he wrapped his legs
and hands around it. He would have been all right if Mrs. Dumas hadn’t chosen
that moment to come outside. She shaded her eyes with her hand, but the sunlight
hit her hair and turned it molten golden red.<o:p></o:p></div>
</span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">He
stared at her and lost his concentration. His legs drooped and his fingers tired
of supporting him. He dropped to the ground in a tumble. The fall knocked the
breath from his lungs and he lay there amid twigs and leaves. He blinked and
tried to focus through watery eyes. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Mrs.
Dumas knelt beside him. “Oh my word. Sheriff Stone, are you all right? Is
anything broken?”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">He
sat up and conked his head on the swing seat. He rubbed the spot and grinned.
“Not my most glorious moment, but I’ll survive.” He stood, wincing at the pain
in his back where he’d hit the broken limb.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Please

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Going
anywhere with her sounded good. She took his arm and led him into the kitchen.
He didn’t feel at all guilty throwing a limp into his
walk.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Sit
at the table and tell me where you’re injured.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“I’m
fine, ma’am. Just need to sit a while and clear my head.” He remembered this
kitchen from when the Brown family lived here. Already she’d begun changing the
appearance by moving furniture around. The table was much nicer where diners
could look at the back yard while eating. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">She
pumped water into a glass and set it in front of him. “What were you thinking?
You could have broken your neck.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“I
realize that now. At the time, it seemed an easy enough task.” He downed the
water then smiled at Lucy. “I had a good helper.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Lucy
giggled. “Giant sheriffs can fall after all.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Apparently
so. The swing’s strong enough for you, though.” <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Mommy,
may I go swing now?”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Just
be careful of that broken limb until we can clear it
away.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“I’d
better do that.” He started to rise.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">She
pushed him back onto his seat. “You sit right there until I’m sure you’re all
right. Does your head hurt? How’s your vision? Do you see double?” She tilted
his head so their gazes met.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“My
vision is fine, ma’am, and I sure am glad. You have the prettiest eyes I’ve ever
seen.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">She
jerked her hand back so fast you’d think she’d been burned. He savored the
warmth where her fingers had touched his jaw.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“Humph.
Apparently there’s nothing wrong with you, sheriff.” She fisted her hands on her
hips. “At least no damage from your fall.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">“I’ll
just move that branch out of Lucy’s way and then get back to my business.” He
stood and bent to grab his coat from where Lucy had dropped
it.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">She
grabbed his arm. “Wait. There’s blood seeping through your clothes. Sit down and
take off your shirt.” <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">He
froze and considered following her request before sanity gained a toehold.
“Nothing I’d like better, Mrs. Dumas, than having you tend my cuts and scrapes.
Seeing as how you’re a widow on your own, I reckon I’d better get on to Doc
Ross’s and let him see if there’s a problem. This is a small town, and I sure
would hate if anything I did caused gossip to smirch your good
name.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Her
expression softened. “Thank you, sheriff. I appreciate that more than I can say.
I’m pleased you’re truly a gentleman.”<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%;">Joel
pulled on his coat and left. He kicked himself all the way to the doctor’s
office.</span></div>

Shane O'Neill is the writer of The Dracula Chronicles, a new and exciting
series adding a new dimension to the Dracula myth. He has begun the series with
Chronicle 3 to give his readers the vampire first. Chronicle 1 will follow to
take you back to the beginning.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4sP5odI7SW4svx4KnOcmHmJ_1dEPjikK9pDA1z1aRV1qJqPukfmYMV2iC05baXIa_qT2D9jkplCKze7XbFdJvbRb-JMs34689b0cxI8Dbb6B3x-SSbYhms0jZv-92V1fKRu5pil5tckc/s1600/shane.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4sP5odI7SW4svx4KnOcmHmJ_1dEPjikK9pDA1z1aRV1qJqPukfmYMV2iC05baXIa_qT2D9jkplCKze7XbFdJvbRb-JMs34689b0cxI8Dbb6B3x-SSbYhms0jZv-92V1fKRu5pil5tckc/s200/shane.jpg" width="149" /></a>The author developed a fascination with Dracula from an early age. Like many
others he was enthralled by Christopher Lee's portrayal of him on the big
screen. It was in his late teens that he discovered Dracula the man and the love
affair began from there. An avid historian, he studied the period in which the
real historical Vlad Dracula lived, 15th Century Balkan, for many years. It
followed from there then that with his love of writing he would always choose
Dracula as his subject.<br />
<br />
Away from writing, the author has a wide range of interests. He has lived and
travelled all over the world. He has a love for all things historical, with a
particular fascination for medieval Europe. Anywhere he travels he likes to
search out locations with an historical interest.<br />

Shane and I have much in common: we both have a vampire series, and write in the paranormal and historical genres, so it is no wonder that he and I became fast friends.<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Dracula-Chronicles-Bound-Blood/dp/0955670101/ref=la_B00A75SM4O_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365889199&sr=1-1" target="_blank"> BOUND BY BLOOD Volumes 1</a> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Dracula-Chronicles-Bound-Blood/dp/0955670128/ref=la_B00A75SM4O_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1365889199&sr=1-2" target="_blank">and 2</a> and <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/reader/B00A6VP45O/ref=sib_dp_kd#reader-link" target="_blank">BIRTH OF THE MONSTER</a> which is a prequel to Bound by Blood, will be his featured books today. But I ask you all to take a look at all of Shane ONeill's works on his <a href="http://www.draculachronicles.co.uk/the-chronicles/" target="_blank">WEBSITE</a>. He's fantastic!! In the meantime, I was so pleased when I got wind of Shane's "essay" entitled The Recreation of a Legend. Here's what he wrote.....<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
There are few names in popular
culture today as famous as that of Dracula. I would go as far as to say that in
the western world the name conjures up an image of one description or another
for anyone who hears it, anyone above the age of twelve at least. For me
personally, as a youngster anyway and even now to an extent, I see the face of
Christopher Lee, who will always enjoy immortality as the on-screen icon. Of
course, the name Dracula is not limited only to western culture.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjmWkv6rsYoIe5svre72fAlB-CjKztsBFaDRUGRaLje1JnzGHb5hRH6ZyBW0hIONstoW7CZuLvcOuBrMqddKJnK1M-2QqQQvTcTWora3ML9D_S5e52LkQb03IZ25QTAuedjhm-d-ziFpQ/s1600/myth.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjmWkv6rsYoIe5svre72fAlB-CjKztsBFaDRUGRaLje1JnzGHb5hRH6ZyBW0hIONstoW7CZuLvcOuBrMqddKJnK1M-2QqQQvTcTWora3ML9D_S5e52LkQb03IZ25QTAuedjhm-d-ziFpQ/s320/myth.png" width="201" /></a><o:p> </o:p>For his iconic status in the
modern age I guess we need to thank Bram Stoker, who gave us Dracula the vampire
for the very first time back in 1897. From that time forward his literary
classic haunted the imaginations of his countless readers. Of course, over a
dozen actors have taken up the mantle of Dracula on the big screen, beginning
with Max Schreck’s Nosferatu in 1922. Notable mentions to those who have
followed in his footsteps and helped cement the legend that is Dracula would
include: Gary Oldman; Bela Lugosi; Lon Chaney Jr; Gerard Butler; John Carradine;
and the best of all, Christopher Lee.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>And then there is Dracula the
man, the true legend, but about whom so little is known by the wider audience
that is captivated by the on-screen vampire. This was a man famous in his own
times, as the ruler of Wallachia – one of the three main states that form modern
Romania today. He was a man famed for his brutality, even in his own day, and
whose method of punishment brought him notoriety long after he was gone. When
people hear the name Vlad the Impaler, they are a little more familiar with the
man I am describing. Note this is a nickname not used in his lifetime.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>So, when the legend already
exists, and there are few bigger than this one, how do you create something
new? How do you breathe life into a subject that has already had so many
incarnations be it on screen, in books or in historical texts? What can you
write that will capture the imagination of those that already adore Dracula and
survive the obvious scrutiny that is sure to come? It goes without saying that
any such undertaking is never likely to be easy. If it is to succeed then it
will have to be something special and something that stands apart from the rest
to be judged on its own merits.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>The first question anyone ever
asks me when he/she learns I am a writer, is naturally, “What do you write?”
When I tell them the subject of my books is Dracula, I always see the scepticism
in their eyes. Even if it is unintended it is always there, and this is the
point I am trying to address. How do you write on a subject that everyone holds
a pre-conception of, in a way that is not only going to capture their attention,
but also their imagination? If they take the time to investigate further and
allow me to explain the concept and premise of my books, then the expression and
the look of doubt inevitably changes. And it is then I know I have something in
my possession that will draw interest over a wide spectrum and possibly see the
birth of a new legend.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>I have always had my own love
affair with Dracula, with both the vampire and the famed voivode. He has
intrigued me for decades and given me many a late night trying to understand and
know the man he was. I have always wanted to write, but more significantly, I
have always wanted to write about him. I wanted to write about both Dracula the
man and Dracula the vampire. Even in the earliest days of my project I knew it
was going to need to be something grandiose and epic in scope. And that is what
I set out to create. Nine years on and three books later, The Dracula
Chronicles is well on the way to achieving this.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>My task, therefore, was to
formulate a concept where I could focus on building the world of Dracula the man
and move into fantasy with Dracula the vampire and successfully blend the two
together. I based my premise on the aftermath of the first Great War of the
Angels. This war is a consequence of Lucifer’s jealousy upon the creation of
mankind, which causes a great divide in Heaven and results in him and those that
had sided with him to be cast out. To end the carnage, God agrees a truce with
Lucifer. One of the terms of the truce is that they would contest the soul of
every man, though without any physical interference. If at any time Lucifer
controls a greater number of souls then he can return again to Heaven and
oversee the end of mankind.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>When it seems that Lucifer might
triumph, God sends His son who is then crucified to free man from sin. This
undoes all of Lucifer’s work and leaves him in the same position as he was after
the truce. However, on the day of the Crucifixion the Catholic Church is born.
Fourteen hundred years on Lucifer comes to believe if he can destroy the
institution of the Catholic Church then he can turn man against God once more.
The candidate he chooses for this immense task is the young Vlad Dracula. In
the moment the young Dracula breathes life, so does his half-brother to a gypsy
woman on the other side of the country. The Powers of Light bestow the baby
Andrei with great power as a balance to Dracula.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>This is the point where I build
the world of Dracula the man. There have been a few noble attempts by others to
do this and I am aware of another in progress at the moment. However, the best
effort I have read was that written by Michael Augustyn. But even then, his
book fell short of what I was looking for personally in Dracula the man. So
with the first books, The Path to Decay and The Gates Of Babylon I have created
his world in its entirety. I have built a profile of a most amazing man with
his struggles, his conflicts, his loves and his triumphs as well as his
failures. Despite the image the history books convey of him, my readers will
fall in love with Vlad Dracula. I daresay he will be as popular with readers
despite being the antagonist of the series from Book 3 onwards, as his brother,
Andrei, who is the protagonist of the story. It is in Book 3, Bound By Blood,
that I give you Dracula the vampire, as created by Lucifer. He then begins his
journey through the ages to bring down the institution of the Catholic
Church.</div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p> </o:p>So for those of you out there who
may have been waiting for something new from Dracula, or even just a return to
the much darker and more traditional vampire with a little something different,
I give you the Dracula Chronicles.</div>
<br />
A prequel to the series, The
Birth Of The Monster, is available now to give a feel for the Chronicles. Bound
By Blood – Volume 1 & 2 were released on December 1, 2012. I invite you to
join Dracula and I on our journey through time.<br />

Richard Pathroff and hope the new guy on the block will be his newest informer.

A fellow author has a new release that I'd love you to check out. Her name is Chantel Rhondeau, and her book is <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/B00BT71C0U/ref=sib_dp_kd#reader-link" target="_blank">CRIME AND PASSION</a> It's for sale on <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/B00BT71C0U/ref=sib_dp_kd#reader-link" target="_blank">AMAZON </a><br />
and it has a special new release price for a limited time!<br />
I know Chantel is on a blog tour right now and is excited about the release of this book, so let's welcome her here on Deborah Palumbo Books'and give her a warm welcome! She really is an awesome author!<br />
<br />
HERE'S A DESCRIPTION: A decorated police officer,
more intent on justice than following the letter of the law, lands in trouble
when a schoolteacher finds a dead body on the beach. <br />
<br />
Officer Donovan
Andrews knows how to have a good time—ask any woman in town. But when it comes
to men abusing their wives or children, Donovan takes it upon himself to make
them regret it. <br />
<br />
Madeline Scott is unlucky in love. All she wants is a
quiet place to heal, away from cheating, womanizing men. However, her life is
far from peaceful once she stumbles across the body and witnesses someone
fleeing the scene.<br />
<br />
Terror spreads in Pleasant View when the small
community hears a killer is on the loose. All evidence points to Donovan, and he
realizes someone is trying to frame him. When troubling suspicions from his past
surface, even fellow officers believe he’s guilty. Madeline might be the only
person who can clear his name, but first he has to win her trust.<br />
<br />
The
body count rises and no one is safe. The murderer makes it clear Madeline is
next. Soon, Donovan’s whole world is focused on protecting her and keeping
himself out of prison. The more time he spends with her, the harder it is to
fight his growing attraction. Since she’s been burned by love, convincing
Madeline he’s interested in something more than hot sex may prove harder than
keeping her alive.<br />

</a>Jordan Taylor is a feisty, take charge, Rubinesque beauty with a tough
façade, but after a string of lackluster relationships, her dream of a man who
truly loves and appreciates her strength seems impossible…Until she meets
Canaan, the man her fiancé claims is his best friend! Instinctively, she knows
her neat, if lackluster life is about to change.<br />
<br />
Born more than 200 years ago, Canaan looks like an angel but he’s far from
it. In his world, the ratio of men to women is 500 to 1, and although he’s a
superior being, he’s willing to break the most sacred law of his brothers, even
drink human blood, to have one meant for him alone.When he meets Jordan, he
knows she’s the one he’s been searching for. To claim her, Canaan will have to
betray his friend, humble himself enough to win her love, and risk his very
life. <br />

<br />
I want to thank awesome author, <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://maeclair.net/2013/01/11/mae-clair-do-you-collect-stars-boty-award-2012/" target="_blank">Mae Clair</a></span> for nominating my blog for 2012 Blog of the Year! But before I tell you about the nomination, I want to tell you about my fellow author. First of all, Mae is a great lady, a talented writer, and a friend! Many of you may already know Mae and hopefully have read her fantastic paranormal book, <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://maeclair.net/weathering-rock-2/" target="_blank">Weathering Rock</a>.</span><span style="font-size: small;"> So check out Mae and her book and her <a href="http://maeclair.net/" target="_blank">BLOG</a>. Mae always has great authors, interesting topics on her blog, and simply put: she's fun and entertaining!</span><br />
Now, allow me to accept her kind nomination for 2012 Blog of the Year and tell you folks just how it works.....<br />
So how does it work? The rules are pretty straightforward:<br />
<br />
1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award<br />
<br />
2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s
no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their
award.<br />
<br />
3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award –<a href="http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/" target="_blank">http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/</a>and
include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the
badges!)<br />
<br />
4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award
and share the ‘rules’ with them<br />
<br />
5 You can now also join our Facebook page – click the link here ‘Blog of the
Year 2012’ Award Facebook page- <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/BlogoftheYear/" target="_blank">https://www.facebook.com/groups/BlogoftheYear/</a>and then you can
share your blog with an even wider audience<br />
<br />
6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that
presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog
and sidebar … and start collecting stars…<br />
<br />
Yes – that’s right – there are stars to collect!<br />
<br />
Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once – this award is
different!<br />
<br />
When you begin, you receive the ‘1 star’ award. Every time you are given the
award by another blog you can add another star! There are a total of 6 stars to
collect.<br />
<br />
Which means that you can check out your favorite blogs – and even if they
have already been given the award by someone else – you can still bestow it on
them again and help them to reach the maximum 6 stars!<br />
<br />

The Star of Bethlehem has fascinated writers from across the centuries.
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
Experts believe the Magi or Wise Men who saw the star that led
them to Bethlehem were court astrologers and advisors to the ancient kingdom of
Babylon. </div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
Was it a star? Was it a comet or simply a miracle? Some
astronomers and historians are teaming up to give a logical, yet miraculous
explanation. </div>

Scholars increasingly suggest that the Star of Bethlehem was
the star we know as the planet Jupiter, the king of planets representing the
infant King of Kings. To get the details, astronomers like John Mosley need
historians. </div>

"You give me a period of time and I can find something in the
sky that would have been sufficiently interesting to alert the wise men to send
them on their journey," says Mosley.</div>

For the last one hundred years, most experts had said that
Jesus was born about 7 B.C., contradicting what the early Church writers had
said about 3 B.C.</div>

<div class="adjusted">
Historian Ernest Martin contends those ancient authors had it
right, enabling Mosley to reconstruct on his computer those skies of old.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"August 5, 3 B.C., August 9, and there on the morning of
August 12, 3 B.C., Jupiter and Venus were in very close conjunction," he
explains. "I can zoom into a part of the sky so that you can see Venus and Jupiter
almost touching. They were separated by about a fourteenth of a degree."</div>

enough to get the Magi on their camels headed to Jerusalem because the
conjunctions all took place in the constellation of the Lion that represented
Israel to the Babylonians. </div>

"Astrology is nothing more than a corruption of primitive
truth that we can find in the Scripture," says Martin. "But astronomy and signs
in the heavens that God did give to introduce His Son into the world are
valid."</div>

<div class="adjusted">
Jupiter and Venus represented a father and mother, and from
them you'd expect a royal baby to be born. That is apparently what the Magi
thought.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"But by the time the Magi got there about 15 months later, he
was now a 'padeion,'" notes Martin. "He was a toddler."</div>

Jupiter came close to the star Regulus, yet another symbol of royalty, not once,
but three times in a looping pattern reminiscent of a celestial crown. </div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"Venus comes in and is in conjunction with Jupiter," explains
Mosley. "Beneath the Lion, to the left of Regulus, June 17, 2 B.C."</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"And we find that Jupiter in its two very close conjunctions
with Venus and then three close conjunctions with the star Regulus over a
ten-month period of time satisfies our concept of what would have been very
exciting to the Magi and that's why we pick Jupiter as the Star," says
Mosley.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
So, the Magi would have viewed these events like a billboard
in the sky that says a mighty king has been born in Israel!</div>

<div class="adjusted">
Once they'd made their long 'star trek' to Jerusalem, scribes
there told them to make the brief journey to Bethlehem. After all, the
Scriptures tell of a king rising from the city of David. </div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
Next, the return of Jupiter, once again, this time in the womb
of the constellation of the Virgin. Martin interprets this as a symbol of the
Virgin Mary with child and a guide for the Magi.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"They just saw it come to a stop mid-body to Virgo in the
direction of Bethlehem and they went by the direction of an angel and they gave
their gifts to the Christ child," says Martin.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
The date, about December 25, 2 B.C., New Testament scholar
Peter Jones says God brought those astrologically wacky gurus to Jesus for a
reason that's still valid for the unique people in our own lives.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
"We need to try and make friends with them, we need to bring
them to Christ, we might not have a star in the sky, but we are disciples and
that's what the Lord left with us as His command to go and make disciples of
gurus," says Jones.</div>
<br />
<div class="adjusted">
As much as these new explanations about the Star of Bethlehem
may enrich the meaning of Christmas, the story of the star represents only one
chapter in the telling of the greatest story ever told.</div>

PLEASE WELCOME MY GOOD FRIEND, NON- FICTION AUTHOR JJ COLLINS, FROM ACROSS THE POND<br />
<br />
J.J.Collins is an Indie Author, Blogger and Political Commentator based in
the United Kingdom Collins has always been passionate about American History and
politics; he enjoyed a long and successful business career before a serious
illness forced a change in life and career direction. This unexpected turn of
events allowed Collins to rediscover his passion & love for writing.<br />
<br />
"I have been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively and I have to
admit, I'm definitely a news junkie! but also a person who loves learning about
new cultures, places and people. I believe by capturing and studying key events
in our history, is a vitally important way in understanding the modern world we
live in. The study of politics and history can often assist us in opening our
minds and improving our language skills and can also be a lot of fun.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSTT6v-r0bW_UgZDgWkHWy9DeZQdo7OYl-SUJFn99IJn_E2i1GgEPbXBX2JxcQer4M7ToqlpHWR_hBTYZWrNp2PMs_3yXfNwRA1iT5umSHYE1WKn_GJLyUG7N56RGbXamolnrDPxxm0E0/s1600/51xtexrsx9L__SL500_AA300_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSTT6v-r0bW_UgZDgWkHWy9DeZQdo7OYl-SUJFn99IJn_E2i1GgEPbXBX2JxcQer4M7ToqlpHWR_hBTYZWrNp2PMs_3yXfNwRA1iT5umSHYE1WKn_GJLyUG7N56RGbXamolnrDPxxm0E0/s200/51xtexrsx9L__SL500_AA300_.jpg" width="200" /></a>I believe the study of Politics and History helps us understand other people
and other societies. Society is shaped by what came before Collins says. In
order to understand how we have become what we are, and why we differ from
others, it's important to look to history. Very few events are truly "global" -
and understanding the "non-global" is a key to understanding why people living
in one country can develop stereotypes of those living in another country. It
has been said that History is written by the victors however; Collins loves
exploring not only why those persons were victorious, but also what was the
basis for the defeat and sometimes destruction of others.<br />
<br />
History helps us understand current events much better and on a more personal
level, it can also help us understand who we are and the "risk factors" we have
to face on a daily basis in this ever changing world.<br />

inspirational and influential people I have had the privilege of studying and

admire in people and have been lucky enough to have worked and studied with some
truly talented people in my life and career." JJ Collins<br />
