AWESOME AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT

WELCOME, WELCOME, EVE CARTER.AND HER EROTIC NOVEL,

DECEIVED
"I love the cover, Eve"

ABOUT THE BOOK:

When Chloe Swanson, an innocent mid-western college graduate, lands her dream job in New York City, she doesn't realize what kind of a ride she’s in for. It doesn't take long before her boss, the charming and sharp businessman Patrick Collins, deceives her into being part of his plan to land the biggest account of his life. What follows is a sensual and passionate journey of self-discovery, as Chloe faces the harsh reality of jealousy, love and money in the big city.

Deceived Part 1 – New York is a 120 page novella in the style of popular erotic romance novels such as 50 Shades of Grey by E.L. James and The Blackstone Affair by Raine Miller.

Stimulating, amusing and highly erotic, Deceived is a romance that will excite and titillate your senses.

EXCERPT:
As I stood barefoot at the water’s edge, I barely noticed the freezing cold water lapping at my legs. My shoes were left behind in the loose sand. I had managed to remove them, despite my hazy state, before embarking into the Atlantic ocean on this chilly June evening. The dress would be ruined though, but I couldn’t care less. Nothing really mattered much anymore.
Staring at the dark blue velvet sky over the horizon, I furiously blinked back tears of frustration, in an effort to arrest any further erosion of my soul. Every perception I had believed and trusted had changed in a split second. Paradise had been shattered into hell, desire turned into disinclination and love into hatred. Divine heavenly pleasure was now replaced by a dark excruciating pain, a pain so strong it could only be eased by walking farther and farther into the black ocean. Surely, the cold water would clear my mind, release the suffering and ache, making it all go away.
I had been deceived. Played like a dumb fool in this billionaire’s playground. I had taken part in a sensual, erotic and passionate ride that was now just an illusion, except this was not a fairytale. This was a real story and it all began a couple of weeks ago…..

  1. Hi everybody,
So excited to be featured here Deborah. Thank you so much.
It feels wonderful to finally be able to put a romance novel out there. I have mostly been writing short stories before, so the process of developing the characters and plots more in depth for this novel has been so much fun.
There will be three parts of Deceived in total. Each part following Chloe our heroine, but will take place in a different city for each part.
Right now I am busy finishing the second part and hope to have it going out to my editor by the end of December with release mid January.
So happy that you like my cover Deb. Originally I was going with a different cover featuring a hunky guy and the Manhattan skyline in the background, but the instant I saw this cover, I was sold. It really expresses the humor in the book as well as the hot and steamy action going on :)
I hope that people will enjoy the novel as much as I enjoyed writing it and if anyone have any questions I will be happy to answer them all.
Thank you so much again Deborah
    Eve
